Missouri Hand-Polished Lacy Agate with Bronze Chalcedony, Hematite & Barite - Specimen #9
One of the most complex and visually stunning specimens in our Missouri collection — this massive freeform piece is a multi-mineral masterpiece that rewards every angle with something new to discover.
All sides have been hand-polished to reveal the gorgeous lacy agate banding beneath, flowing in soft gray and cream waves across the polished faces. Covering much of the surface is a breathtaking bronze-colored chalcedony overgrowth with a warm, rich metallic luster unlike anything commonly seen. Interspersed throughout are areas of hematite growth that have been semi-hand-polished to expose the silky black luster of the hematite beneath — deep, mirror-like, and dramatic. Adding yet another layer of interest, barite formations are also present, completing this extraordinary mineral assemblage.
